Long Island has a 56% divorce rate, higher than the national average of 52%.  The Supreme Court of Suffolk County, (where our main office is located), processes between 3,600 and 4,300 divorce filings each year, averaged over the last 10 years.  The Divorce Mediation Center has consistently mediated eight percent of all of these divorces (approx. 250 per year), and continues at the same rate.
